Ski Adventure Plus Insurance
This insurance is designed for trips that include sports and adventure activities, such as skiing and snowboarding. It covers medical assistance, luggage, accidents, and, optionally, trip cancellation to prevent the loss of the amount paid in the event of unforeseen events.
- Characteristics:
- Medical assistance: up to €500,000 abroad, with unlimited repatriation, early return due to hospitalization or death of a family member, extension of stay, and search and rescue.
- Luggage: up to €1,000 per loss, plus €500 for sports equipment, delayed material, and rental costs in the event of breakage.
- Cancellation: up to €2,000 for justified cancellations (health, legal, work-related, extraordinary or other similar reasons).
- Trip interruption: up to €2,000.
- Accidents: disability or death due to an accident while traveling up to €10,000 (€20,000 for transportation).
- Private civil liability: up to €75,000.
- Other specific coverage: refund of ski passes and lessons, slope closures, cancellation of bib numbers, delays and loss of services.
- Indoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, snow sports and a wide variety of adventure and extreme sports (excluding altitudes above 5,000 m and diving at depths of more than 30 m).
Cancellation insurance
Since this is a trip that is usually booked well in advance, ARIAS Travel & Services, based on our experience, recommends purchasing this optional cancellation insurance to avoid losing the amount paid in the event of any incident. The trip cancellation expense policy covers expenses incurred when canceling a trip for justifiable reasons, such as health, legal, work-related, or extraordinary circumstances, provided they arise after the insurance has been purchased.
- Characteristics:
- Health reasons: Includes death, serious accident, serious illness of the insured or family members, complications during pregnancy, medical quarantine, and hospitalization.
- Legal causes: Court summonses, election calls, adoptions, visa issues, or traffic fines exceeding 600 euros.
- Work-related reasons: Non-disciplinary dismissal, ERTE (temporary layoff plan), starting a new job, geographical relocation, or competitive examinations.
- Extraordinary causes: Acts of air piracy, disaster zones, epidemics, or serious damage to the insured's home.
- Other causes: Vehicle breakdown or accident, theft of documents, wedding cancellation, scholarship award, among others.
Multi-assistance insurance
We know the importance of having good accident insurance when traveling outside of Europe due to the high medical costs, so that you feel protected, we offer a multi-assistance travel insurance, optional, although highly recommended, that covers heliskiing in Canada. The price of this insurance is €304.19 per person.
